FSB Fund for Community Advancement Deadline

The FSB Fund for Community Advancement was established in 1997 to provide support for projects that will enhance the lives of people in the communities served by Franklin Savings Bank. Since its inception, the Fund has awarded 168 grants totaling over $834,000 to community organizations and agencies throughout Central New Hampshire.

 

Eligible organizations are those recognized as tax exempt under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code; however, public agencies are also encouraged to apply. Areas of support include, but are not limited to, economic development, affordable housing, education, health care, social services, environment, arts and humanities, human services, as well as programs addressing the needs of children, adolescents, and single parent families.

 

Consideration is also given to programs and services that address the needs of low to moderate income families and individuals.

Franklin Savings Bank’s market area includes the following communities: Franklin, Tilton, Northfield, Bristol, Boscawen, Hill, Sanbornton, Belmont, New Hampton, Alexandria, Laconia, Gilford, and Gilmanton.
