Franklin Savings Bank honored 12 community organizations for their contributions to improving the lives of individuals throughout the Central New Hampshire Region at the 3rd Annual Fund for Community Advancement Event held October 6, 2015 at the Lochmere Country Club in Tilton. The event is held each year to recognize non-profits who were recipients of a grant from the Franklin Savings Bank Fund for Community Advancement. This year’s honorees were Got Lunch! “This event is one that I look forward to each year as I am truly amazed to hear of all the projects the bank was able to support through our Fund for Community Advancement,” said Jeffery B. Savage, President & CEO. “I applaud the efforts of these organizations because they truly do make a difference in the lives of individuals in the communities we serve.”

Also at the event, the Richard W. DuBois Community Impact Award is presented to an organization that made a significant impact in Franklin or the surrounding communities.  The Patriot Resilient Leader Institute was presented with the award for their Camp Resilience, a program that provides targeted life skills training combined with outdoor physical team building exercises to aid wounded Veterans and first responders with their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
