Hampton Hotels, a global brand of more than 1,800 hotels has honored Kim Tripp, Room Attendant, of the Hampton Inn Concord/Bow as a top performer within Hampton Hotels.
Nominated by their peers because of exemplary loyalty, attitude and service, the chosen team member continually exceeds expectations of both guests and fellow team members.  Less than 1 % of all Hampton Hotel team members internationally receive this honor this year. Kim is now the 2nd winner this year from the Hampton Inn Concord/Bow.

Kim was nominated for the award by the managers after proving to be an exceptional role model. “Kim continues to make outstanding contributions to guests and team members, showing great enthusiasm in all areas of her work at the hotel. Kim is also being recognized for stepping in and helping a young couple with their baby who was non-responsive.  Kim helped revive the baby much to the relief of the parents,” said General Manager Michael Scavotto. “We are proud of her recognition as a Spirit of Hampton Award winner, the company’s most prestigious award. Team members like Kim create a warm, welcoming and exceptional experience for our guests and impact other team members by creating a domino effect of great service.”

Employed at the Hampton Inn Concord/Bow since February 2008, Tripp is known for her integrity and effort, even in the face of personal challenges. She always strives to go the extra mile but in this case, the significant note was Kim helping a mother revive an infant while working one day. After all was said and done, Kim simply went back to work, not making any big deal out of this.  Other areas include Kim being a 3 time Team Member of the Quarter winner. Going above and beyond but doing it in such a way as it is just a way of life for her.

Hampton Inns employ approximately 40,000 people but recognizes only 240 team members per year with this honor. This represents the top one percent of all team members. Kim received a cash prize of $350.00, a Spirit of Hampton Award plaque and will receive other recognition by Hampton during the year.
