Zach Heon, Spirit of Hampton National Award

Nominated by their peers because of exemplary loyalty, attitude and service, the chosen team member continually exceeds expectations of both customers and fellow team members. Less than one percent of all Hampton Hotels team members internationally receive this honor each year.
Heon was nominated for the award by his managers after proving to be an exceptional role model. "Zach continues to make outstanding contributions to guests and team members, showing great enthusiasm in all areas of his work at the hotel," said General Manager Michael Scavotto. "We are proud of his recognition as a Spirit of Hampton Award winner, the company’s most prestigious team member award. Team members like Zach create a welcoming and exceptional experience for guests, and impacts other team members by creating a domino effect of great service." In fact, part of this recognition comes from recent commendations from our guests where Zach clearly took the extra steps to take care of them.
Hampton Hotels, which has approximately 40,000 team members and more than 1,800 hotels worldwide, recognizes only 240 team members a year with this honor. This represents the top one percent of team member performance. As a recipient of the award, he received a cash prize of $350, a Spirit of Hampton Award plaque, and will receive other special recognition during the year.
