Material Manager/Shipper & Receiver
Goffstown, NH
Leddy Group is seeking a material manager/shipper & receiver in Goffstown, NH! This is an exciting, long term/permanent role for the right candidate with a company that offers growth and development opportunities. 
This position requires the individual to engage in being able to build, repair, and maintain dies, fixtures, and all other tooling related to the manufacturing. This company offers a competitive 401K, insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays and vacation! 

Responsibilities of this role:

Work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to repair and maintain stamping dies and assembly tooling
Support production department with tooling needs; respond to shop-floor calls in a timely manner
Assure safe operation and care of tool room equipment
Produce quality work in a timely manner
Assess complex tooling and equipment needs and refurbish as required
Troubleshoot and solve tooling problems without assistance
Set up and operate all tool room equipment with no assistance.
Work to continuously improve tooling and reduce scrap
Ability to move throughout the plant
Extended sitting and standing; reaching and bending.
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required
Ability to access tooling both in and out of machines to troubleshoot problems
Ability to read tool and die designs and drawings
Ability to use precise measuring equipment
Ability to operate all standard tool room equipment
Must be able to work without supervision
Individual must be self-motivated

Ability to communicate well with others


Qualifications of the material manager/shipper & receiver:

Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
Completed an apprenticeship training program a plus
Demonstrated ability to produce finished components from a concept or engineering drawings
Demonstrated ability to set up and operate Bridgeport’s with Prototrac.
Demonstrated ability to set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines and lathes a plus.
Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs; good working knowledge of algebra, geometry and trigonometry
Experience with tools and dies for forming and bending sheet metal a plus.
Strong familiarity with Wire EDM and CAD a plus.
Work to +/-.0001 inch
1st shift, Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

Ideal Call Center Associate candidates will have:

Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced call center environment
1-2 years of experience in customer service related roles; call center experience strongly preferred
The ability to work well under pressure

This position supports a federal contract that requires applicants to be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance. This process will include a background check conducted by the U.S. Government to determine eligibility and suitability for federal contract employment. This position is being offered full time, in-house. Availability to work between 9am and 6pm is required. Hourly pay rates for these positions start at $15.00/hour. Bi-lingual candidates fluent in both Spanish and English will be eligible for premium pay.

As a quality engineer, you will: 

Develop, implement and maintain quality standards adding value to manufacturing processes.
Devise and implement and improve methods and procedures for building Quality on each step of the manufacturing process.
Design and/or specify inspection and test methods and equipment.
Develop and implement statistical analysis for development and production programs.
Perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process-related concerns.
Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 6S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen events.
Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audit finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventative actions.
Analyze failure, corrective and preventative action to respond to customer complaints.
Review PPAP supplier products to determine whether to accept the product and future purchases from the supplier.
Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions, and preventative actions.
Develops PPAPs, FMEA and controls plans and all associated procedures for product and process validation and ensures customer satisfaction.
Preparation of QA reports for internal communication.

Quality Engineer qualifications:

BS in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in an Automotive manufacturing or Defense/Aerospace industry is a plus
5 years experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 Quality Assurance Systems (IATF 16949/TS 16949 a plus)
Lean, DOE, Six Sigma or Process Excellence certification experience preferred
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience
Strong core tools knowledge (APQP, MSA, PPAP, SPC)
Customer satisfaction and data-driven oriented
Experience using statistical analysis software (Minitab)

Design PLC automated machine control systems, assume a key role in driving continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes. Utilize technical expertise in electrical process control technologies to support and improve automated process equipment.  Use skills to design and develop control systems for new equipment.

Controls engineer qualifications:

BS in Electrical or Industrial Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of Controls Systems experience 
Experience in programming Rockwell/Allen- Bradley PLCs and HMIs using RSlogix software. Experience with GE Fanuc, Koyo, Siemans, and Omron PLCs
 Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Knowledge of NEMA standards.
Familiar with OSHA machine safety and guarding regulations.
Able to create electrical schematics and control panel drawings to accepted standards.
Experience with servo and stepper motor drive systems.
 Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
CNC machine tool control troubleshooting a plus.
 Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
Advanced computer skills to include CAD solid modeling.
 Knowledge of machining processes. CNC programming experience a plus.
Working knowledge of fluid power systems and electrical controls.
