First Aid, CPR & AED Training

With an emphasis on hands on learning, our course give you the skills to save a life. It teaches participants how to be prepared, respond to emergencies, and provide care until advanced medical care arrives. The course meets OSHA requirements. Participants receive a 2 year certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive an email and be able to claim their certification. Once claimed by the participant, the employer will have access to the certifications to print and file as needed.

Monthly Forum: A Connected Crisis
Join the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce at our monthly forum: A Connected Crisis - Addressing the Issues of Homelessness, Mental Health, Substance Misuse and Public Safety.

Our December forum focuses on the relationships between greater Concord's substance misuse crisis, homelessness, mental health, and public safety. Panelists include Peter Evers, Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc.; Ellen Groh, Concord Coalition to End Homelessness; Dr. Carolyn Kerrigan, Dartmouth-Hitchcock; Chief Bradley Osgood, Concord Police Department; and Jeffrey Stewart, Concord’s Project FIRST director. These complex issues affect business, healthcare, law enforcement, city services, schools, and families in the greater Concord community. Learn what strategies are being used to combat this connected crisis, and what actions community members can take to face these challenges.

Bloodborne Pathogens Training

If you signed up for our First Aid, CPR and AED training earlier in the day, this is the perfect time to stay and take the Bloodborne Pathogens Training. Or you can sign up for this training alone!

The Bloodborne Pathogens training course teaches participants how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to help prevent exposure incidents, and how to recognize, report, and follow up on employee exposure to infectious materials. After taking the course, participants will be encouraged to talk with their employer about their workplace's specific policies and procedures.

Each participant will receive a certificate indicating Bloodborne Pathogens Training that is valid for 1-year. Training must be completed annually as required by OSHA regulations.

The Nutcracker, Act II

In the spirit of the holiday season, the St. Paul's School Ballet Company (SPSBC) will present The Nutcracker, Act II. This performance is free of charge and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each show will last approximately one hour and all ages are welcome.
Although not required for admission, the SPSBC invites guests to bring toy donations for holiday distribution to local children through Concord charitable organizations. Donated toys should not exceed $25 in value and should be new and unwrapped.
