From Too Much Debt to Debt Free – Hear Our Personal Story

The average American owes $5700 in credit cards debt and pays close to $400 a month in student loans.  The average mortgage payment in NH is around $1500 and many have car payments in the $500 range.  Sometimes people have debt due to a life change like paying for a wedding,  a new career, divorce or because they have an addition to their family.  Sometimes it's because the car needs to be fixed, the house needs a new roof or the dog ate something he wasn't supposed to and needed emergency vet care.  And sometimes....... well life is just expensive! Many times it's a combination of many different reasons.
Join us for an interactive hour where you will hear some true stories from NH Federal Credit Union's Financial Wellness Coaches and others.  We will be sharing with you our own personal stories of the amount and types of debt that we had and the different methods we used to pay off those debts and get ourselves in a better position financially.  We'll talk about what sacrifices we had to make and the challenges that arose.  We all had different situations and stories and we all " attacked" our debt differently...  More >>
