Congresswoman Annie Kuster is 15th Annual Walk in My Shoes Honoree
May 30, 2018 - Concord, NH - Future In Sight, a nonprofit organization serving almost 4,000 blind and visually impaired residents in New Hampshire, has named Congresswoman Annie Kuster as its Annual Walk in My Shoes honoree. “For 15 years now, Future In Sight has held its annual Walk for Sight in downtown Concord,” states David Morgan, CEO. This year, to mark the 15th anniversary of the Walk, Future In Sight decided to add a new and special component—the Walk in My Shoes honoree. “Our Board and staff selected Annie Kuster because of her strong commitment to ensuring Federal awareness and support of the needs of the disabled community not only here in New Hampshire but across the Country,” adds Morgan. “Congresswoman Kuster is an especially fierce advocate of active duty military and veterans’ needs—and Future in Sight serves about 150 New Hampshire veterans through its programs,” continues Morgan.
