Spaulding Youth Center Names New CEO

Most recently, Ms. Ryan served as the Chief Operating Officer of Easter Seals NH, where she managed 90 programs under 12 core service lines throughout New England. Prior to her work with Easter Seals NH, Ms. Ryan held executive positions with Zenith American Solutions, Elliot Hospital & Health System, and United Healthcare.

“Ms. Ryan’s unique background in leading diverse operations supports her focus on evolving organizations through adapting process improvements, use of technology, program growth, transparent communications, and staff development,” said Michael Ventura, Spaulding Youth Center Board of Trustees Chair, and Hali B. Dearborn, Spaulding Youth Center Foundation Board of Directors Chair, who worked together as Co-Chairs on the CEO Search Committee. “We are very excited to have Ms. Ryan leading Spaulding Youth Center and believe her extraordinary leadership style, experience, and vision for the future of our organization will serve to greatly enhance our ability to serve our students.”

Susan Ryan holds a BS in Organization Management from Daniel Webster College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership at Southern New Hampshire University.

Spaulding Youth Center has been providing high-quality educational opportunities along with residential offerings for over 145 years and these programs have never been more necessary,” said Ryan. “I especially look forward to working with the great team of people at Spaulding Youth Center, along with the many children, youth and families using our programs. I’m excited to work with the lakes region community along with others around the state to help Spaulding Youth Center achieve all we can for those we serve.”
