The New Hampshire Association for the Blind announced today the official launch of their revitalized website, www.sightcenter.org. Thanks to the generous support of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and Gibney Family Foundation, the site's launch comes at the end of a 4 month website redesign project headed by Altos Marketing of Bedford, NH.
To address the needs of the growing popoulation of New Hampshire residents living with low vision or blindness, the time was right to turn the website into a dynamic platform. "Our collaborative effort with Altos allowed us to design and create a site that's engaging, information-rich and easy to navigate", said Marcia Clark, Marketing & Executive Relations Manager. The site provides access to much-needed resources, details numerous opportunities to get involved, and offers real-life stories told by individuals who have benefited from the services provided by the New Hampshire Association for the Blind.
The new site allows individuals to sign up to receive email communications ranging from upocmoing events, quarterly newsletters and annual reports. "As the incidence of blindness continues to grow, we felt that this next generation website must effectively connect and communicate with those who need help or want to support our mission," said George Theriault, President & CEO.
The New Hampshire Association for the Blind is committed to being the primary organization where individuals, caregivers, family and the medical community can learn more about the wide range of services, information and resources that are available throughout the state.
In addition to its revitalized website, the Association will continue to build its presence on Facebook and Twitter. For more information on the New Hampshire Association for the Blind, visit our new website at www.sightcenter.org.
