Our Academic team at Spaulding Youth Center is looking for a dynamic and creative Special Education Teacher for our full time, year round program. Classroom sizes are small and student ages range from 4 to 21. Manager support, peer support, as well as wrap around services, such as OT, PT and SLP, all contribute daily to working towards the most successful outcomes for our students who have both educational and behavioral challenges.

Spaulding Youth Center is a leading provider of academic, residential, therapeutic and foster care programs and services for children and youth with neurological, emotional, behavioral, learning and developmental challenges. We are in Northfield, NH, surrounded by nearly 500 acres of beautiful woods, fields and mountain vistas. The campus offers a safe, supportive and intensely therapeutic environment for students to discover a love of learning while gaining confidence, trust, social and vocational skills and independence.

Requirements:  
Requirements for the Special Education Teacher role includes a bachelor’s degree in Education, a New Hampshire Special Education Certification (K-12), and based on regulatory requirements, applicants must be 21 years of age.
