“There aren’t many jobs that allow you to change a child’s life while the child simultaneously changes yours, but working at Spaulding allows exactly that.” Sara V.
Spaulding Youth Center is seeking full time and per diem Paraeducators for our year round program. We are open 52 weeks per year and shifts are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm.
Our Paraeducators are a vital part of the professional academic team who contribute daily to the successful outcomes of our students. Working with our Special Education Teachers and assisting in providing a well-organized, smooth functioning environment in our small-sized class rooms, our Paraeducators are active and mobile for the majority of the day in this busy and rewarding setting.
Spaulding Youth Center has a rich history dating back to 1871. We are a leading, accredited provider of educational, residential, therapeutic and foster care programs and services for children and youth ranging in ages 4 to 21 with neurological, emotional, behavioral, learning and development challenges and children who have been neglected and abused.
Staff wellness is supported by providing a very generous benefits package and a generous time-off plan, a free coffee bar and delicious free meals in our dining hall, an on-site fitness center open 24/7 and beautiful walking trails throughout our campus.
