CANCELLED: Lunch & Learn: Becoming a Recovery Friendly...

*Important event notice* Thank you for your interest in attending Lunch & Learn: Becoming a Recovery Friendly Worlplace on Thursday, April 2 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Due to recent events related to the COVID-19 virus, we have decided to cancel this event. We regret that we cannot offer this particular educational programming at this time. Please note that we hope to reschedule this complimentary workshop in the future and will reach out with updated information once revised plans are in place.

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce takes the health and safety of our members seriously and we are monitoring the evolving Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) situation. We will continue to evaluate the situation for previously scheduled Chamber events and adapt our cancellation policies as necessary. Thank you for your support and understanding. We look forward to connecting with you at a later date. Stay tuned!

Join the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and Concord Young Professionals Network (CYPN) for this event in our 2020 Lunch & Learn Series: Becoming a Recovery Friendly Workplace.

There are approximately 60,000 NH residents in recovery from addiction, including members of our workforce as well as clients and customers. Learn how to support your colleagues and employees by implementing evidence-based health and safety policies and programs to recruit and retain a healthier, more productive and more motivated workforce, while establishing your company as a proactive and valued community partner. Presenters Karen Morton-Clark, Recovery Friendly Workplace, and Jaime Corwin, Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., will share information on becoming a NH Governor designated Recovery Friendly Workplace, and give you an overview of the tools and support that businesses can receive to save resources and lives. You're encouraged to join in the conversation during this engaging workshop; we'll discuss challenging the stigma associated with mental health and substance use disorder, as well as the warning signs that a family, friend or colleague is in distress and what steps you can take to support them.

Pre-registration is required to attend this complimentary event (includes lunch). Special thanks to Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc. for hosting this event. Our Lunch & Learn Series is generously underwritten by Sugar River Bank.
