While the People are Away...the big Cats will play!
Concord, NH

There are many ways we continue to meet our mission, even from far away! The city of Concord is working on installing a new drainage system to help with the immense runoff from I-393. We are thrilled to partner in this effort because it helps to preserve our historic estate.  Some other things we're up to: · Increasing our recycling efforts and adding receptacles to all buildings. · Doing a DEEP CLEAN of all studios and event spaces. We want you to feel confident and healthy to return to campus. · New series: ARTtoART interviews with the creative sector.  · Coming soon: Kimball Jenkins Academy, online courses with our faculty and other area creatives like Alison Murphy (Concord Handmade, Penumbra) Karina Kelley (Kelley Stelling Contemporary).  · Art meets History: download coloring book pages featuring details from the victorian mansion.
· Preservation efforts continue with work on the copper and slate roof of the Victorian mansion. KJ is part of Concord's historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Here is a brief update from Kimball Jenkin's new Executive Directory, Julianne Gadoury:

We are accepting scholarship applications and registrations for Summer Camp! We know that parents will be EAGER for kids to get out of the house and have some hands on art making experience. We have six fun themed weeks to choose from. Registration is open with a full refund policy if the camp is rescheduled or cancelled due to COVID-19 and the declared national emergency.

Thank you to all of our donors, members, students, and visitors who are partners in helping us reach our mission. Kimball Jenkins serves the capital region as a setting for the enhancement of arts and culture, within a neighborhood of historical significance. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and a large portion of our income comes directly from investment by community members like you. If you are financially able to make a donation at this time, it will go directly toward meeting our mission, offering more scholarships, preserving our local heritage, and bringing dynamic cultural opportunities to our region.
Thank you.
