Description:  
We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven leader to serve as our Controller. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Controller is responsible for effectively managing all day-to-day accounting functions and for providing accurate and timely financial information to the CFO as well as oversight of the accounting team. The Controller will play a key role in audit oversight as well as budget development and grants budget development and reporting. The Controller will also work with program managers to assess financial performance, track revenues and expenses and provide financial guidance.

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Oversee all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with the appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs and program budgets and actual expenditures.
  • Coordinate all audit activity between external auditors and accounting and other personnel.
  • Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changes and keep CFO abreast of agency financial status.
  • Oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting; ensure that expenditures are consistently aligned with grant and program budgets.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating daily cash and projections as well as managing organizational cash flow forecasting.
  • Works with program managers to assess the financial efficacy of program operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support program operations.
  • Responsible for annual budget preparation and compilation in conjunction with program managers and CFO.
  • Leverage strength of the current finance team to help to clarify roles and responsibilities.
  • Assist CFO with special projects as needed.

Our Food Services team is responsible for providing over 400 meals per day to our students, staff and guests. Together, the Food Services team creates healthy and nourishing food, often tailored to specific dietary needs of the students on campus. The Food Services Associate supports the safe and timely delivery of food to all those on campus and is specifically responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards. The Food Services Associate also ensures the dish washing area is clean, safe and sanitary. This position is primarily to provide direct care to students during non-school hours. The role encompasses the supervision of students during overnight hours with environmental checks every 30 minutes and room checks every 60 minutes. Responsible for observation and documentation, and for maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
